Dear Sir,
I am writing to introduce myself as a seasoned commercial superintendent, predominately in the medical industry. Due to the economy and huge cutbacks I was recently laid off from DPR Construction where I had been working for over two years. My most recent experience and accomplishments were at Arrowhead Hospital where I spent over one year completing over 15 projects. These projects included new cath labs, endovascular, imaging suites, labor and delivery, operating rooms and a new human resources department from dirt to the C of O. I am a strong coordinator, not only with subcontractors but with all equipment reps, engineers, architects, owners, project management team and end users. I cultivated a strong relationship with all hospital personnel from the corporate office to housecleaning. These skills were instrumental in obtaining future projects for DPR Construction. What I am most proud of is that every project at Arrowhead Hospital was completed on time, and not one extended past the original completion date. This is all verifiable through the hospital director, Jerry Harrison [at] 602-400-1263. I also have a flawless safety record and was OSHA trained. Not one recordable injury in my career. I am MICROSOFT literate and work well in a paperless environment with excellent communication skills.
I have enclosed many references starting with my regional manager at DPR. I would appreciate it if you could find the time to call these references to learn more about my work ethic and my skills. This will prove to be a strong testament of my character and my ability. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing my entire background. I thank you in advance for any opportunity you extend to me and my family.
Sincerely,
Daniel De Angelis
